Yeah well, it’s been a while since I’ve blogged this extensively.

Going back to SOT last thursday with angel & jesh was great. Nostalgia of JW with that unmistakeable presence of God that never fails to lift my soul.

It also reminded me of the journey I took after SOT. For some it was a season of opportunity and promotion, others expansion of lands and starting new challenges. Others had visions birthed forth or better yet, completion of a dream becoming reality.

But for me? It was hellish, tough, expansion by painful means.

I’ve had a problem with my emotions since young. And God knew it had to be dealt with. In order to enter the promised land, all impurity has to be cleansed inside out. And trust me: It’s a painful process.

It took me guts, courage and sheer determination to pull through it all.

Fighting a financial war, emotional roller coasters, physical exertions, yet God’s presence and his numerous promises and seeing so many visions and dreams was literally my food.

He became my strength

After SOT I’ve wrestled with many, many things. Finances, strength, emotional roller coasters, depression and the like

But GOD, is greater!!!! The breakthroughs began to come, and are still coming!!

A new ASUS laptop, new Sony Camera, some form of financial stability within my family

Improved relationships in my family and CG.

Maturity in handling myself

A new sense of fun and direction in life

Being set free of my fear in Maths

And most importantly, the one I’m most thankful to God for: Emotional stability. I’ve been whacked so many times that I’ve learned to be in control, that actually I’ve the power to choose to overcome, or be overcome. It ain’t an easy road. But I’m glad to say I’ve made it!!!

Yet through it all, the most memorable part of my SOT journey was the lessons throughout the trials. The blessings from many angels around me. And most importantly, his presence and the love of all the angels that was Team 20 =)

Thank you all!!!

Janice – Miss Sunshine!!! We’ve entered SOT as CG mates and normal friends, and we’re now really great friends!!! (and impromptu younger sis) Really appreciate your joy and understanding even as I was being put into so many trials. You’ve seen the best and worst (It was really ugly) sides of me and I’m really great you’ve stuck by my side!!

I’ve learned compassion, love, strength and emotional control from you. Not to mention the times when you’ll share the secrets of the feminine mind!! haha!!

The biggest compliment I can give is that you’ll be a standard of calibre I’ll measure my future partner against No pressure Mrs Neo!!! =)

Believe God has many wonderful things set ahead of you and always remember that he’s faithful!!!

Alvin -My brother, fellow scouser.

Your kindness and compassion is amazing. Your love for people and the conduct you’ve carried yourself for God and his people is inspiring. Thank you for praying with me and being the gentle, kind soul teaching me about prayer and God. You’ve stuck through thick and thin those 6 months and I can’t thank you enough. And we’ve seen LFC fall to unbelievable depths in the past year. But thank God for John W Henry eh?

Here’s to more nights at Harry’s chanting Suarez’s name!!! The title drought will end within 2 seasons. I really believe

YNWA bro

Wan Teng –

Whenever I see you, you always remind me of an angel!! Or an Esther!!! haha. Your kind and sweet spirit towards people is just amazing. And underneath your kind soft exterior lies a determined, longsuffering and patient spirit. Seeing you go through internship with only 3-4 hours sleep per night and juggling SOT is an amazing feat not many can do. But you did!!!

Thank you for your patience and your smile always brightens my SOT mornings!!

(It’ll happen this year, you know what I mean 😉 )

Eileen – The glamorous one!!

Many times you’ve had to serve as Worship leader, yet you availed the time to be with us whenever you could. There’s just this, ermmm ‘oomph’ about you that sets you apart from everyone else?
Haha!! If there’s one thing I can learn from ya is that Without God’s anointing, many things would be impossible and done only on our own strength.

You’ve clearly got ‘it’!!! Awaits the album catapaulting you to the top of the charts!!

Ming Jiao – Bambi!!!!

Watching you grow through this 6 months is a testament of God’s faithfulness. From those stories about your past and yourself rising through your challenges is by itself: Wow!!! Will never forget the moments of ‘fun’ by riding bikes through Medan and doing our very first CG together!!! (And woah, it was really memorable).

You’ve the gift of a teacher bambi!!! There’s more to come!!

Malcolm

We got off to a really rocky start. But I’m glad it’s all over. The times of ‘friendly’ debates about football and life and the many stages of growth both of us went through was really turbulent. But you’ve taught me faithfulness in ministry. Your single-minded dedication and focus on ministry is awe-inspiring. And I’m glad to see we’ve moved on and matured more in Christ!!

All the best for your ns days!!!

Eugene

You are, a caring leader. So many times I thought leadership is a position. But I’ve learned from you that leadership is obedience. An obedience to be faithful to your flock because our flock is entrusted by God for you to steward and lead. Seeing you juggle career, ministry, SOT and family/relationships really inspires me that: all of us can do it too!!!

Thank you for leading us, and me in those 6 months

Joyce

You’ve a heart of not just a servant, but of a son (shall say Daughter instead? lol )

Your dedication to ensure all of our needs are met at the expense of your own is heartening. I believe that your lesson to me is faithfulness, longsuffering yielded together with leadership, strength and conviction in the word of God.

Thank you for your friendship since the E418 days!! =)

To all my china classmates: Xian Qing, Ya Nan, Ting Hong, Tingting, Tina, Bo Quan, Jun De, Hui Hui

Though we’ve had language barriers, I believe we’re together in the same team for a reason. Each and everyone of you taught me the importance of God’s anointing. Faithfulness, discipline and sheer hunger for the things of God. Truly God does not look at man’s outward appearance, but the state of our hearts. And all of you are truly wonderful friends and classmates. Thank you all

Lets meet again at Asia Conference 2012!!!

And last but not least: the man whom made my journey in Christ all possible, Jesher
Words can’t begin to describe my gratitude to you bro. The last 4 years 8 months have truly been a life-changing experience. So many things you know about me, the extent of the many sacrifices you’ve made for my sake (putting up with my snideness, temper, loving the things I’ve loved like LFC, adopting my heroes as your own). You’ve really taught me about conviction, and utmost faith, prayer and trust in God himself. Without you I dare not imagine where I’ll be right now.

Here’s to many more years of our lives ahead!!

Psalm 23
A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell[a] in the house of the LORD
Forever.

Yep, those of us whom sent Huihui off will remember this: The prophecy he gave all of us that night.
There was one part he mentioned about me becoming a solution to many people?

It’s coming to pass

In the form of iCare!!! (It’s a new ministry btw, being there for people, counseling them, helping them through emotional breakdowns, traumas, depression etc). I’ve felt an inexhorable desire to go into it ever since coming out of my emotional desert. Time to give myself back to God!!!! =)

Yep, exams in May, so everything else is on hold.

So that’s it, no more blogging till may. That’s when my life gets interesting again!!!

Until then, watching Suarez and wearing suits will be my kick

Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things you need will be added unto you

This was the word for me today…..

Yep, used my new Sony Cybershot today!!! Pics you can find on my fb ya….

Adi’s birthday ambush!!!!

It was a hard, rushed but fun time with everybody contributing and playing their part.

Really heartening to see everybody come together to really aid and help one another. This is what family’s all about!!!

In the end, the effort was worth it!!!

Seeing him smile makes it all worthwhile =)

Normally it’s seek his kingdom first and all the blessings you need will come to you.

But today it’s the blessing I’ve received from my sis had helped to bless another brother instead: And today was fruitful too!!!

It usually gets worse, before it gets better.

How many have the stomach to get up and continue?

Food for thought.

His name is Suarez he wears the famous red

I Just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough

When he scores a volley or scores one with his head

I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough

He scores a goal and the kop goes wild

and I just can’t seem to get enough SUAREZ

LUIS SUAREZ

He plays like Tevez, dribbles like Messi.

Finishes like Fowler, reminds me of Kenny.

Has the leadership of Gerrard, flair of Ronaldo (Greasy one)

Some even likened him to Maradona.

But he ain’t any of them, no not even Fernando.

He is Luis Suarez
